Volunteer opportunities range from a few hours to pack Penguin Pantry food boxes, to connecting directly with students, or serving on an advisory committee for a specific degree program.

EOCF loves volunteers and they enjoy serving in our programs. Opportunities range from short-term projects and special events to regularly scheduled volunteering in our classrooms and administrative office.

When you join our volunteer team, you make an immediate impact for pets and families throughout Southwest Washington. Volunteers at HSSW support every aspect of our lifesaving work. From dog walks and cat care to laundry, event support, administrative tasks, and everything in between, volunteers make our work possible.

Sign up to help prepare, pack, and deliver meals to sites all over Vancouver and greater Clark County. This year the program will run Monday through Friday, June 23rd - August 8th.

Each month we serve over 8,000 meals. Much of the food used in the program is donated by area grocery stores and is prepared each day by volunteers and staff. Our team of Hot Meals Volunteers work in a commercial kitchen to assist with food preparation, serving, and cleaning.

Every day, volunteers play a critical role in Bloodworks NW’s life-saving mission! By volunteering your time with Bloodworks, you are part of the lifesaving connection that delivers blood to patients in need. You can take pride in knowing that your time is as vital to our mission.

The generous contribution of thousands of hours by volunteers allows the museum to be properly staffed and to work successfully on preservation projects and special events. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available in operations, collections, preservation, outreach, and research.

Autism Empowerment believes in positive collaboration and community involvement! We strongly believe in creating an Autism Empowerment community where all people on the autism spectrum feel welcome. Assistance League Southwest Washington is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that is comprised of multi-talented volunteers working together to fulfill its mission. We are an organization whose members volunteered over 11,800 hours last year. Our volunteers are dedicated to improving the lives of residents in Southwest Washington through hands-on programs.

Whether it’s driving a refrigerated truck, sorting perishable food, or harvesting carrots on the farm, volunteers are the heartbeat of Clark County Food Bank. Each year, we have over 8,200 individuals who donate nearly 66,000 service hours. Every volunteer provides something unique and important to the food bank, and we could not serve our community without the support of neighbors like you!

As an Alzheimer’s Association volunteer, you can make a meaningful impact for people and families impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia in your community. With support groups, education programs, awareness opportunities, advocacy initiatives, fundraising events and more, we have volunteer options for you at the Oregon and SW Washington Chapter. Volunteering at the library offers enjoyable work as well as the satisfaction of knowing how much your efforts benefit your community. It requires a commitment of your time, usually on a regular schedule, plus participation in some basic orientation and training.

From assisting adopted individuals find information about their biological parents, putting together backpacks of food for kids during the summer, to corporations who come in to paint and build garden beds, our volunteers are an extension of our workforce.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER Do you enjoy giving back to your community? What if you could give back and have fun while doing it? At Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington, we are looking for volunteers who are eager to make a difference by connecting with youth of all ages.

We are in need of volunteers at various upcoming events to take blood pressure (using automated BP measurement devices) and provide informal education to participants.

For every production at OBT, we distribute approximately 100 posters across Portland and select locations in Camas and Vancouver. We’re seeking volunteers to help display these posters at community centers, coffee shops, libraries, and other key spots.

Our ability to help restore women and children around the world is made possible, in part, by generous individuals who donate their time and talent to us. Shared Hope volunteers are made up of young activists, parents, retirees, professionals and community leaders. We welcome anyone devoted to protecting and restoring human dignity. Currently, volunteers are located primarily in Shared Hope’s Vancouver, WA office.
