In the world of the Washington State Gambling Commission, there's a fine line when it comes to fundraising at events. From raffles, heads or tails, 50/50 or other fun and engaging opportunities for donor contributions, it's important that the nonprofit behind the event is protected.

Surprisingly, many organizations are unaware that their fundraising methods may not comply with the law. For instance, did you realize there's a cap on the amount you can raise through raffles each year? Or that a  may need a specific gambling license? If these facts come as news to you, our workshop, led by an expert from the Gambling Commission, is an essential forum for learning how to navigate these regulations.
