Description

Workshop Overview:

"From Transactional to Transformational: Relationship-Focused Fundraising"

Fundraising is often referred to as the “necessary evil” of the nonprofit world: money is an essential element to fulfilling the mission, but the struggle to access critical dollars is real. What if we flip that narrative and approach fundraising as a chance to magnify our nonprofit’s potential? What if, through our donors, funders, and partners, we can create momentum that both serves our mission and helps create deeper connections at a time when loneliness and isolation are at an all-time high? When we move away from transactional fundraising and set our sights on true relationship building, the results can be transformational.

GVC will be joined by Megan Dixon, Director of Community Investments & Relationship at Johnson Bixby & Vice Chair of Ripple Impact NW

In this workshop you will learn how to:

  • Refocus your efforts to build symbiotic relationships

  • Identify and expand your center of influence

  • Use traditional fundraising vehicles as an opportunity to connect deeper

  • Review your current practices and consider a shift

Who Should Attend:

GVC's Nonprofit POD Workshops extend a warm welcome to all Nonprofit Staff Members and individuals dedicated to advancing their organization's mission! Whether your current role directly pertains to the workshop topic, or you aim to contribute valuable insights to your organization, we eagerly anticipate your participation.

As space is limited, we ask that only nonprofit staff members register to attend this event. If you are interested in attending and are not a staff member for a nonprofit, please email YourChamber@VancouverUSA.com and we will add you to the waitlist. Thank you!
